Prison Program: Building and Construction training
At the beginning of 2024, we came up with the idea of spreading our radius of impact. With our first prison training program, the prisoners have been inspired to do better - preparing for a fulfilling life post detainment.

Prisoners trained in construction skills will come out with a renewed lens of life. It gives inmates a fantastic opportunity to learn skills and gain qualifications whilst detained, so that they are better prepared upon release to obtain employment and resist offending. The aim of this qualification is to encourage the development of employability skills used within the construction industry.
With these new skills, graduates will be equipped to prepare for a world of working, they are encouraged to take up construction projects, continuing to build and develop upon what they have learnt.
We are hoping that this one of many programmes that we can facilitate in different prisons around Northern Uganda.
